50 Voices: DC Farm to School Week

50 Voices is a documentary project that I concepted, photographed, and designed to raise awareness of the D.C. Farm To School Network’s big yearly event, Farm to School Week. I based the initial concept on my earlier Storiography project 100 English Dreams and worked together with a team of photographers, event organizers and volunteers, farmers, and teachers to gather the images and words necessary to pull the site together.

Unlike 100 English Dreams, I built 50 Voices completely in HTML and CSS with some jQuery added for scalable image resizing. It is compatible with most widely-used modern browsers (Safari, Firefox, Opera, and IE7+) and mobile devices running Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
